Stories of the past, dreams of the future

WE ARE CABRA

We are a Catholic college in Adelaide, South Australia, guided in faith by the Dominican Sisters who started Cabra in 1886. We are a welcoming, inclusive, co-educational environment, providing the ideal setting for students in years 7 to 12 to flourish.

OUR VISION

Cabra Dominican College, as a Christian community in the Catholic tradition, strives to nurture and develop the unique gifts of individuals, to liberate them in the search for truth, and to empower them to create a better world.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to be a place of excellence in teaching and learning in the Catholic tradition. We have a strong commitment to outreach and social justice and encourage critical thinking and self-confidence. We work to provide a stimulating learning environment, which is holistic, and encourages and supports each teacher and student to be their best.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

The Cabra Dominican College community acknowledges and respects the Kaurna People of the Adelaide Plains, for they are the Traditional Caretakers of the Country on which our College stands.

We recognise and admire their enduring “oneness” with the land and its waterways, for it is a deep spiritual connection we can learn from.

We honour and respect all First Nations Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the traditions, memories and wisdom of Mother Earth, on which we place our feet upon today.

Enrolment
