Cabra Dominican College welcomes applications from all families seeking a Catholic education for their children. Since our establishment in 1886, we have always enjoyed working in partnership with families from different backgrounds. We believe that this provides Cabra with a diverse student population and a dynamic learning environment where each young person feels freer to be themselves as valued members of our community.
From 2019, our main intake point for enrolment will be in Year 7. We will no longer have a Year 6 or Year 8 intake. It is recommended that families commence the process towards secondary school entry as early as possible. Enrolments are finalised 18 months prior to the student commencing in Year 7 with enrolment interviews conducted where possible when the student is in Year 5.
Enrolment applications for Year 7, 2021 will close on Friday 12 April, 2019

In exceptional circumstances the Principal may vary the above priorities to suit local circumstances at the time. Each application for enrolment will also be viewed on its merit.
Should the number of applications in the priority categories exceed the number which can be accommodated, then preference will be given on the basis of the date of lodgement of the application.
In accepting a place at Cabra Dominican College, parents/caregivers, as well as the students, consent to abide by the college rules and expectations. Sincerity in the willingness to support the Catholic Ethos and contribute positively to the general life of the college must also be demonstrated.
These meetings provide us with an opportunity to discuss your application in person and to learn more about your son or daughter. Our senior members of staff who conduct the interviews are also well placed to answer any questions that you might have about our educational programs and other opportunities available to Cabra students.
