Reconciliation Action Plan
The Cabra Dominican College community recognises the significance of reconciliation between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We acknowledge that reconciliation is a continual journey, one that calls us to listen deeply, learn humbly, and grow in our understanding of the histories, identities, and lived experiences of First Nations peoples.
As a community, we commit to:
– Ensuring that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at Cabra Dominican College are actively invited to be involved in our RAP conversations;
– Deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritages, with particular respect to the Kaurna People of the Adelaide Plains;
– Welcoming, embracing, and being open to transformation through engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identities, histories, and cultural perspectives;
– Acknowledging the injustices of the past with sensitivity and respect.
In all of this, we seek to walk together in truth, justice, and hope.
We invite you to read our Reconciliation Action Plan for 2026.
