Learn to learn, learn to live, learn to fly

We are Cabra

We are a Catholic college in Adelaide, South Australia, guided in faith by the Dominican Sisters who started Cabra in 1886. We are a welcoming, inclusive, co-educational environment, providing the ideal setting for students in years 7 to 12 to flourish.

Our Vision

Cabra Dominican College, as a Christian community in the Catholic tradition, strives to nurture and develop the unique gifts of individuals, to liberate them in the search for truth, and to empower them to create a better world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a place of excellence in teaching and learning in the Catholic tradition. We have a strong commitment to outreach and social justice and encourage critical thinking and self-confidence. We work to provide a stimulating learning environment, which is holistic, and encourages and supports each teacher and student to be his or her best.

On Wednesday this week, Adelaide Crows AFLW premiership player and The Amazing Race contestant Marijana Rajcic visited Cabra and spoke to our student leaders at their leadership development conference. She shared some stories about the ups and downs in her sporting journey and lessons about how to develop resilience and overcome challenges in their own lives.

The House Captains also worked on ways we can continue developing our inclusive community, where all students feel a strong sense of belonging.

Thank you to MJ and all our Student Leaders for their wisdom, work and positive impact on the lives of others.
