The Certificate II in Salon Assistant is available FEE FREE under TGSS and Term 3, Semester 2 enrolments are now open! This course is a great entry into the hairdressing industry.  It will qualify the student as a salon assistant, and they can then continue on to the Certificate III in Hairdressing. Classes are delivered in our academy where the educator will demonstrate each practical service in detailed step by step demonstrations. Students will bring in models or work on each other to practice each service which they will document in their workbook portfolio and receive detailed feedback from their educator. Plastering apprentices wanted now!

Seven Plastering companies are seeking an apprentice to join their team and to help with the plethora of construction work happening in South Australia now and into the future.  Successful candidates will complete a Certificate III in Solid Plastering, training at TAFESA.  What a great way for a young person to start their career pathway, working with some of Adelaide’s leading craftspeople. Take a Gap Year (even during a pandemic)

Dreaming about taking off to somewhere exciting next year? You could be in luck – lots of Gap Year companies have opened applications and are planning trips for late 2021 and early 2022.

It’s crucial that you only book if you’re 110% sure you can get a refund if they cancel the trip – and you could find plans change at the last minute – but at least the option is there.
