Cabra Middle School Library

There are two libraries at Cabra Dominican College: A Middle School Library for Year 6 – 9 students and a Senior School Library for Year 10 – 13 students.

We are currently in a transition phase with an exciting programme to renew existing collections, embrace emerging technology and plan for re-development of our spaces.

We encourage students to browse and study throughout the school day. We are here to assist with any research and study requirements and are skilled in helping pupils with their choice of fiction and other resources.

Students can access the internet via the wireless network and use photocopying and printing facilities in both libraries. We offer units of study across the curriculum teaching literacy skills, as well as promoting reading by offering fiction talks for all year levels.

The Library Intranet, which provides access to a vast Library Catalogue and our collection of Online Research Databases, can be accessed on any computer around the school and from home to assist students with all their research needs.
